Event Date
April 2020 is the 5th anniversary of the City Nature Challenge *and* the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Join us as we celebrate the nature in and around urban areas by documenting all the species we can find!
The City Nature Challenge is an international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe. It’s a bioblitz-style competition where cities are in a contest against each other to see who can make the most observations of nature, who can find the most species, and who can engage the most people.
Help the Sacramento Region participate in the Challenge by making observations in iNaturalist April 26th-27th, 2020. Visit iNaturalist for more information.
