Maps, Directions & Parking Information
The UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden oversees all public landscapes on campus, including the 100-acre historic Arboretum.
To assist you in making your way around campus and identifying places to park, we recommend using our online campus map to get directions and find nearby parking information.
Parking Information and Tips
- Campus parking is free to all on weekends and holidays.
- For weekdays and special event parking, UC Davis is now using AggiePark, an app-based parking system that enables you to pay for parking from your smartphone or on your computer. Learn more about campus parking and sign up for the AggiePark system here.
- You can purchase daily parking with AggiePark for $17.
- Here for a short visit? Use COSMO permit dispensers — located in the Gateway Parking Structure, Pavilion Parking Structure, and Quad Parking Structure, and visitor parking lots 1, 5, 25, 47 and 56 (and lot 30 in the summer) — to purchase parking by the hour. There are also limited time parking zones that offer 35 and 75 minute parking that can be located on the AggiePark map. Learn more about hourly parking rates.
- Since parking is very impacted on weekdays during the school year, we encourage you to walk, bike, bus or carpool when possible.
- One alternative to parking on campus on weekdays is to park in a downtown Davis public lot and walk or bike to the main eastern entrance to the Arboretum at the Arboretum GATEway Garden.
Campus parking is managed by UC Davis Transportation Services which serves the entire University community by building and maintaining campus roads, paths, and parking facilities. Parking fees support the cost of maintaining these critical resources for everyone, including those throughout the Arboretum and Public Garden.
